Seam welding. Day 2.
Back do day 1

It was a busy day today. Here's the car as we left it yesterday:

The rearranged interior:

The bits we removed yesterday.

New bits:

Cakes

We started by cleaning out all of the oily cack with some new noxious solvent in a can that smelt oddly like cheap fizzy drinks.

There was a lot of Waxoyl in the engine bay. Calm down girls, that's me there wielding my weapon. You might have noticed that we removed the bulkhead panel.

Take that you tinny Vauxhall shite.

Rob reading a book.

We had some great fires today. Waxoyl burns really well.

I'm a firefighter, twisted firefighter.

Here's the plate covering where the heater fan used to blow.

There was some minor rust that was cut away. It's easier to replace the metal rather than treat the minor rust. The lower section allowed us to weld a captive nut back in properly.

The battery tray was removed. Here's a replacement panel taking shape.

Here it is finished. A lot of seams have been welded up by now.

Here's the other side.

Here's Rob trying to look bored.

On to day 3
