I was at Willfield Motor's
rolling road at Abercynon for a bit of a social at a rolling road day when I
decided it'd be a laugh to run mine. I wasn't expecting any surprises -
somewhere around 145BHP and 140lb-ft. The engine made 143BHP and 134 lb-ft. The
line is shown in Yellow in the graph below. I didn't get too excited or
concerned about the results. They might suggest that I'm missing a little bit of
torque. But rolling roads tend to be more reliable on peak power than on torque.
On the graph, the Red, Green and Yellow lines were all for the same state of
tune but at different rolling roads at different times. The car still made 1/4
mile times in the low 15s last time I was at Santa Pod.
