Dyno results

After the head had been run for about 5000miles I visited the rolling road to set up the cam pulley. This involved doing a number of power runs with the pulley set at different positions each time. We started with a baseline run at the factory positions. I was pretty pleased with the results of 116BHP at the wheels and 146BHP at the flywheel. The cam was then adjusted one notch and the engine produced 144BHP. So it was adjusted one notch the other way and the engine made 148BHP. One more notch and power was down to 146BHP. So it was adjusted back to the point where we made 148BHP. The torque didn't seem to be particularly affected between settings, with a very slight drop below 3000rpm on the final setting.

The results below show how the power from the head improved as the head coked up. The engine made just a tad short of 150BHP, a result which I'm very pleased with.
